Comments on 'water footprints'
Dear All
I see it's 'Grant Time' - must be nice, all I get from the government is
the bill for all this - or more debt on my Grandchildren !
Seems to me that some of you folks might be interested in your latest
'Footprint' - which come to me from my Libertarian Australia friend and author -
Ron Kitching.........Cheers........Ken Shock
https://brinnonprosperity.org
ps: the water resources Australia's people are not allowed to touch are the
tropical rivers of Northern Australia - where most of the fresh water of this
mostly desert country flow - these rivers locked up as 'wilderness', UN
'Heritage' etc etc etc
I guarantee you that the Chinese leaders who are building one Coal powered
plant per week are laughing about that, it will be soooo simple to just come
down there and take all that undeveloped land for cultivation - and they most
certainly will do that !!! They just love the UN......Luuuuuv the UN, hey
Agenda 21 is their baby and the dude who wrote it, Maurice Strong, lives in
Bejing these days.
(you might want to google this bird, although all you Earth Day folks
likely know it was his thing - or do you?) Oops, what's this?
quote from the report of the
1976 UN's Habitat I conference which said: "Land …cannot be treated as an
ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and
inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principle
instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore, contributes
to social injustice."
( color this red because it might well have been lifted from the
Communist manifesto - and this policy led to the collapse of the USSR and 100
million deaths by actions of Cummunist governments against their own people - so
why do we need this centrally controlled madness in Washington State?? - I say
give the 'Grant' $$ back to the taxpayers..........Ken )

The Letters Editor
The Water Footprint Network.
Known as The Water Footprint Network, a new “footprint”
organisation is becoming the “in vogue” interventionist organisation.
More than twenty conferences have been held in the
Western world since 2002 and more are planned over the Western world this
year.
Apparently we are to be introduced to the “water
footprint” we have personally and as a nation.
A book on the subject and dozens of papers are
available. Obviously the object of the exercise in not production and storage of
fresh water supplies, but control of the population’s use of that water.
Here are some figures to make you feel guilty about your water
“footprint”
•
The production of one kilogram of beef requires 16 thousand litres of
water.
• To produce one cup of coffee we need 140 litres
of water.
• The water footprint of China is about 700 cubic
meter per year per capita. Only about 7% of the Chinese water footprint falls
outside China.
• Japan with a footprint of 1150 cubic meters per
year per capita, has about 65% of its total water footprint outside the borders
of the country.
• The USA water footprint is 2500 cubic meter per
year per capita.
Lying virtually idle four fifths of Australia’s water
and agricultural resources exist on and or north of the Tropic of Capricorn.
Green interventionists do not permit Australians to take advantage of these vast
resources.
